I’ve never quite understood the angst over sponsors logos on jumpers

I mean the walking billboard look sucks but it helps pay the bills and it’s a league wide issue not exclusive to us

Even if it is a whinge it's a justifiable one. Every year Eagles fans wait to see what changes have been made to our jumper, when really the only unknown should be the indigenous round strip. It was great from the start - granted the Eagles head may be a bit 80s, but it's been so simple, blue with yellow wings as a standard, yellow with blue for a clash. Simple.

And the most annoying part about it is that is truly seems like it's a cash grab for season to season, like there's some design and marketing staff that are trying to justify their position by making changes like a public servant does.

Okay that was more of a rant than a whinge.

State jumper for WA Day round would be amazing.
Would rly piss off the Purps fans (again)!
Gather round will depend on what Carlton is wearing.
Anzac Day I'd expect we'd be conservative and just add red poppy to the jumper.
Why not add to jumper sales like the other teams?

The only unknown really is WA Day. Looks like a gold base for our ANZAC and Sir Doug Nicholls round jumpers.

They’ve used the same blurred out graphic so I’d agree on it being the same one

Wouldn't be too fussed about whether we sell that one or not.
We'll have the other 3 that we can sell.
I'm sure the club would have no issue donating the proceeds.

Got a good idea for the WA Day guernsey...
Instead of just using one of the state of origin jumper designs, we could have a version of our home or clash jumper with the blue changed to black, with an option of keeping the Eagle logo or switching it to the black swan.
2nd option may get more criticism for bastardising the state jumper lol.
If it was black wings on a gold base, it would look like the Dandenong Stingrays guernsey.

I liked what the club did last year - no retail version of the ANZAC jumper. Hope that happens again.
