“I would think heritage round is there for wearing your club’s history rather than WA’s history, but I haven’t given it much thought,” he said.

Either I didn't realise it was Heritage Round, or Justin Longmuir is an imbecile.

Longmuir was playing in 2007 when this was originally a big hoo-hah (Eagles in the State guernsey for Heritage Round). Has he got some lingering PTSD from back in those days that suddenly manifested itself?

When I saw it late last evening I was initially confused but studying it closer I actually love it and have ordered one. TBH there is not often an opportunity as sports fans to wear WA colours en masse - I often attend other sports to watch WA teams and there is little to no merch. Now I will be able to have the best of both worlds- my Eagles and our WA gold and black.
