As always with this sort of stuff, I’ll reserve judgement until I see the player issued jumpers. Retails are always crap and not worth buying. If they look ok on field then I’m fine with it.

Might be the colour compared to the normal monochrome sponsor you get there, but something about it shits me a lot more than I thought it would. Gone from 2 to 4 sponsors in a very short space of time

Could be worse. It’s not overpowering and the circle shape and generic nature of the star definitely helps. Also already plenty of red on the front anyway so it doesn’t stick out like dogs balls

I am not too worried about the jumper - more interested in the top covering of pride that the players should put on each time they put on the jumper and play for the club.

I learnt some years ago that I am not a good judge of fashion sense.

It is blue and yellow, it has the wings, it brings in some money ---- > mission accomplished.

Sponsors might put some of the greenies off

• the big bad burger bar that contribute to diabetes, obesity, deforestation and excessive methane product whilst killing innocent cows, pigs, chickens, etc
• the JV of Standard Oil Texas and Standard Oil California that is big bad oil greatly accelerating the increase in CO2 and global warming.

Mind you in the battle for WA, Woodside are more guilty of greenwashing

We're lucky it's not like some NBL or soccer jerseys where the sponsor logo is right across the front. Hopefully it won't happen, but who knows.
