The more I look at it, the eagle looks more like an owl. Flashback to our early to mid 2000's design.

Colours and artwork aside, this is the design of the Melbourne Demons jumper. Why???!

Yeah, if you remove the eagle, change the angle of the yoke, swap the colours so the light is on top and dark on bottom, swap the royal for navy, swap the yellow for red, change the sponsors, and add an MFC monogram, it's literally identical to Melbourne's guernsey!

I think it’s one of our better IR jumpers

The eagle kind of needs to be white because if it was yellow it would get lost and be indistinguishable from the rest of the jumper

Don't love it or hate it.

The top section above the eagle looks a bit generic. It's just royal blue with pinstripes.

My only change would be something like this so it looks more like the wings design. I know that would be double wings but who is anti double wings?

Or just make it all gold with blue collar and cuffs.

2007 we wore the full blown Heritage replica.

Never again.

vs Brisbane, who were nothing special at the time. Was a fairly even 1/2 until well limply rolled over in the 2nd half and got destroyed.

In SA, the two sides combine to make the SA state guernsey.

Adelaide - SA colours of red, yellow and blue (but different design)

Port - SA guernsey design (but different colours).

Would love to see a WA Day game with that same concept. Eagles wearing their normal guernsey but in black and gold colours, Freo wearing the State of Origin design but in purple and white.

I might have to hold my mouth to keep the puke down just a little, come to think of it.

Man that early 90s kit is killer. Shame Richmond seemed to have appropriated it as their own.

Next best would be the 85 style. Just a classic footy jumper and Black and yellow work so good together


Edit, all the 3 big states State jumpers are just class. Ours, killer 90s one of the best jumpers ever, the big v is iconic at this point and the SA one is just solid bold combo

So basically the training jumper, but without the pattern? Yeah, that will be a poor outcome. Like why black? We have never worn black ever (apart from that one game in 07).
