2026 marks both our 40th season in the league, and the 20th anniversary of the 2006 flag.

Will we get an opening round in the OG peril setup, a la 2011 for our 25th year?

And will we get a game against Sydney in our 2006 guernsey, similar to what we got in 2012 for the 1992 flag's 20th year anniversary?

I'd say a 2006 replica would be the most likely.

Would be a mare if the club forgets to celebrate our 40th season. Wouldn't be entirely surprised tho.
Hopefully round 1 will be at Optus Stadium.

We created a Team 20 guernsey for 20 years (commerative, not worn on field).

We then celebrated 25 years (worn twice on field), 30 years (worn twice on field), nothing produced for 35 years in 2021.

If i had to guess, a Gold Wings Retro Logo design to celebrate 40 years - would be nice to see.

I'm doubtful any 2006 design would be produced, although would be cool to incorporate into Gather Round.

When I was a kid i loved the tri panel and hated the that wings jumper but looking back that was still a million times better than the tri panel

I was sick all week and turned the corner enough to get there. Had an absolute blast! I rewatch it in the off season from time to time (when I'm missing footy). Might give it a run this week

Dig deep was a cancer fundraising game, themed yellow. We had a few jumpers with logos, or yellow sleeves. A new breed and Time to Hunt were just slogans, had nothing to do with cancer fundraising.

And rotating navy in dilutes our colours. Please no.
Navy looks like generic black in a crowd. Royal blue stands out so much better.
Keep Navy for one of retros or Gather rounds etc only
