Get him in. Our first and the Sydney pick. Geelong will kick up a fuss but in the end they’ll take it, no leg to stand on.

He's is for future core mid not a top up flag player. Shuey, gaff, redden retiring all at same time and they are same age

We would be better with another quality midfielder for sure but he is not the only one we could potentialy pick up.A sensible trade no more or less.

They wont but they have some trade targets in mind so they will want to do this deal quickish. Expect some huff and puff "Accept Freo's offer of pick 5 or try your luck in the draft" for a couple days then a deal done with us for pick 12 and 22.

Do you think we will be top 4 next year? I reckon we will be. So pick 14 plus say 16 is close to it. Dylan Sheil was about 2x pick 9 with what looks like a high 30s coming back.

Not sure. It feels like teams around us have gotten better. plus Carlton, North and the Saints look to be rising. Hawks looked good end of season too. I'm known as a bit of a negative nancy so perhaps disregard my opinion. I'm thinking 6-10 next year. I do expect a future second sent back to us if we end up trading a future first.
