About the blind rounds-are players that were not selected from the earlier rounds part of the player pool for the blind rounds? Or are they not available for selection?

It's nominate any player not contracted so it can be anyone previously offered & not drafted or just any random player that is yet to be put up.

Yeah. With submitted bids there's no room for error. You don't have a chance to re-evaluate, and you're basically guessing at what the other 11 guys think of a prospect. If you're wrong once, you don't get the player. Not that I really wanted him, of course.

Just throwing out a suggestion which from memory we may have used in the past anyway.
Conscious of time before the season starts, and the fact people like me are struggling to fill our rosters due to lack of funds.
For the next round of bidding, should we all submit a long list of players, with amounts against each player obviously, but list the players in our order of preference. That way Bill can just work his way through the lists and hopefully complete the draft. Obviously highest bids still get priority so someone might fill their list with their first 2 preferences whereas someone like me might have to wait until my 5th or 6th preference etc.
Just something to consider......
