Melbourne basically gave Hogan a blank cheque to extend his contract and he turned them down. A BLANK CHEQUE.

CM: Looking forward to pulling on the Chevrons in 2017, ay.
Would love the inside info on this one. Had multiple sources tell me we are chasing him hard. Cam will be cheaper.

We can only dreamHooker and McCarthy this year, Hogan next year.

The other things here is the Cam McCarthy Situation.
If anything it will have made players more reluctant to sign anything until they are completely ready.
If he has any thoughts that he may want to come home and he stays fit...just sit tight, and assess the landscape.
With Luke gone, Pav gone next year and Sandi likely with one or two years left max, if this is at all a chance we'd be front loading contracts like nobodies business. The cap wouldn't have a spare dollar in it.
Hogan is the sort you mortgage your house, and the rest of the street.
If Sydney can do it for Buddy AND get Tippett we can do the same
And further, guys on average wages, not essential to team success (say those in the 15-30 range) may find themselves moved on and replaced with new kids
That's nuffie speak your using. Do you know anyone who is Dads ?ie. Dumb as Dog Shit. That would be all those GWS idiots that post all that crap about Cam justifying what their club did by not trading him.Summut gonna happen.
He won't come fur nuffin.

Probably won't happen but I could see PearceD, Suban and De Boer getting moved on to free up space, with Weller, Langdon and Blakely taking over their roles
.Bahaha awesomeness!!!Titus O'Reily gives us a humorous point of view.

Hope the link works.
I thought Jason Dover was Hogan's manager, same as Fyfe.

I'd rather get a football playerNeed to be realistic on this... Slim chance of Hogan coming here. Freo are more likely to get Black from North or Paperone from Brisbane or Marsh from Collingwood by trading. Yeah they are average players.

Because we probably can't afford Fyfe & Hogan.
