So the footage is this.

Time out called with about 2 second left.
Play is run, and the ball goes no where near Kukoc. Ball deflected out of bounds.
No time out called.
0.6 seconds.
A bunch of broken play/screens/etc resulting in a heave by MJ.

I'm not sure you can watch the replay and think that a play was called for Kukoc. Definitely not from "watching the footage".

Kukoc was amazing that game fwiw and the only reason the game was close.

On a broken play with no time out taken just trying to get a shot off in 0.6 seconds, lots of people run in front of other people.

No reason to think it was designed for Kukoc.
