Yeah wouldn't count on it. They've been trying to make an Uncharted movie for the last 7 years too, been through about 4 directors and its still in development hell, TLOU adaption looks like it could be headed the same way.

Don't know why they're bothering tbh, these things are pretty much interactive movies anyway.

They are working on a movie. Druckman wrote the script. Arya Stark was attached early on. but something fell apart lastyear and Druckman wanted to direct it [Which is dumb since he has no movie experience]. Cary Fukanaga who directed every episode of True Detective S1 had shown interest in directing at one stage.

One of the producers Sam Raimi spoke about it a few weeks ago.

Sony might also be waiting to see how the Assassins Creed movie goes with how bad video game movies end up.

The Logan movie trailers with Hugh Jackman looks like he would be the best pick to play Joel. and has some TLoU vibes in the cinematography



Also sony have apparently put an Uncharted movie on the fast track, its gone through like 10 scripts now. at one stage Mark Wahlberg was going to play Nate lol

I dont expect part 2 to come out till late 2018 or early/mid 2019
