Check the accessory settings.

I know you've had chat working before, since you had it going when we had a bit of a session on LBP2 a while back.

That wasn't with my TB X-Rays though. That was with my PX21's and i wasn't using optical like i am now

I tried using the BT to connect and followed the instructions in the manual, but got no sound coming through

I then plugged my receiver in and got the game sound coming through, but no game chat

If i just connect using BT, should that get the game chat working? On 360, there is a cable that plugs into the controller, do i need to plug something else in to get game chat working, or should it work through the receiver and optical?

The only thing would be that you need a USB connected to the PS3 from the receiver in order for it to work, however if it didn't come with that or doesn't say it needs one then you may not (is there a USB port on the receiver?). Astro's need a separate USB cable plugged into the PS3 in order to work, so it may be the same with those.

Otherwise, go to 'Accessory Settings' and down to 'Audio Device Settings' and check if you have the headset highlighted in both input and output. Because you have used the PX21's before, it may still be on them.

My USB was plugged in from the receiver and i had just connected my X-Rays and had it selected as the audio device. That's why i didn't accept the first invite, i was setting it all up

I'll fiddle around with it more tomorrow night
