On the right hand side right next to the gate (in the same little tunnel bit) is a little gap to jump in. I think it's the part i'm thinking of, as it took me ages as well
Thanks but it was a different one, it was
I grabbed the big trash thing and it kind of smashed the gate open

That section is kind of misleading since it looks like you need to push the car down.

But knew how to do that bit purely because it was in a snippet on Game Informer before I played.

70% in, need some help
Okay so I'm at the University of East Colarodo, I've found the big building with the mirror but I can't seem to get past the gate. Ellie said something to me but I zoned out, I know this is probably easy but how da **** do I get past this gate? I swear I've walked past every square inch of this ******* uni.

edit - after 20 minutes of wandering around a hint finally came up. **** me dead. that was easy
Yep, got me too. was a tricky one

I really suck at the stealth part of this game.
Pretty early on spoiler
After running down the corridor after there was no battery in the truck, should I be killing all the clickers/runners in the next bit? I dont want to waste shivs and ammo but I can't beat the lot of them with my hands/melee weapons

Use a shotgun on the clicker/s. One bullet from close range will do it and just punch the runners. The very end when the truck is started, don't worry about getting fighting them, get in the truck when the triangle sign comes up.

I shived the clicker and then quickly choked out the second guy, ran back to the car to kill the guy on ellie. then run with the car. Use the shotgun, I'm pretty sure there is some ammo in the boot of a car for you. Kill clickers first of course. Ammo isn't really an issue unless you're playing harder games.

Bricks are handy on clickers too. Like in the previous scene, if you're spotted keep running and kill the clickers with bricks.[/spolier]

Finished.

Holy shiiiiit what a game. I'd consider myself a casual gamer, I pretty much play exclusively sports games but Far Cry 3 and now this have blown me away.

I haven't read other peoples opinions on the ending yet but personally I loved it. The whole storyline was just fantastic. It had the classic, memorable storyline that Far Cry should have had.

Agree with what most have said about the first 2-3 hours, they were really boring and I was really wondering why I had bought the game but then BAM, shit got crazy.

I'm on if anyone wants to play, I don't know whats going on, but I'm playing hunters and keep getting teams of less than level 5 who won't stick together, against level 20+ people. This is so unbalanced.

I don't really see the issue.

Level number doesn't equate to ability and for the most part you're able to compete on the same level as everyone else from the beginning in terms of selectables for loadouts. So where's the issue?

This is the first multiplayer game I've played and I can assure you, there have been dozens of times where I've been with complete novices against very good players. They stick together and my group is pissing off everywhere on their own.

Sometimes I just have crap games, but if I'm playing with a well drilled team, and playing against a like for like skill, I get 8-10 downs/exec, and we do well.

I'm level 23, but there are plenty of players of that number better than I am. Maybe the better players choose Fireflies? I dunno?

Plenty of games do it.

Fireflies/Hunters option has nothing to do with it.

As for what you're saying, it comes down to the people rather than the level. There's nothing to say that a level 99 will stick together more than a level 10, it just comes down to the mentality of the player.

Unless you're getting put purely with under level 5's everytime you really shouldn't have much trouble with regards to people knowing the game and how it plays. You're just getting teamed up with douchebags more than unbalanced levels.

Love it when you finish a game and there's some foreign guy getting all angry at losing.
Just finished one then, and when the scores come up I hear some guy in an Eastern European accent going "What is this shit? What a rip off! What a rip off!"

It was pretty great.
I was in the snow recently, I had the mark challenge, so I took out the sniper rifle and kept marking them, with headshots when needed. Some Japanese guys sounded pretty pissed. We lost anyway. I know some people get really angry at campers and snipers, but now I've had time to think about it, the challenges force you to play a few sniping/camping games.

I've only used the Hunting Rifle like 2 times, and the actual Military Sniper once. Horrible to use in this game, imo. Just so slow to aim.
I just mark with all my other weapons :p.
