I'm interested in your thoughts once you get to the end.

I think the game is great, so it always intrigues me when people don't dig it. I was really enjoying myself at that point, but I really didn't realise how special it was until the next few acts.
I dig it! I really do. I just can't agree with the hype, thats all.

Bought this yesterday. Glad I did. 6 hrs, 46% done. Loved the uncharted games, so was always going to like this, but yeah it's awesome. The only games I've finished on PS3 are the first two Uncharted games, so this will be the third (I have a problem with finishing games).

At first I was like awesome, was a great start, then it slowed down a bit, but then once I was out of the city it took it to another level. I might actually go back and play the Uncharted games after this.

I love the way Naughty Dog set up their environments, it gives it a unique feeling. Attached to the characters as well, the dialogue is awesome. They've done everything right so far.

Just finished this game the other day and weirdly I still think about the characters, what their life is like after the story ended and wanting to play it all over again. There were moments specifically late in the game with the twists and turns in the plot that were very emotional which is something I've never experienced in other games. The combat system isnt the best and navigating through the menu system is awkward, however the character development and storyline is enthralling. One of the finest games I've played.
Lmao, happened to me. It's an incredibly touching game and tbh the ending snuck up on me and I was left wanting a lot more. I think I am one of the few who really wants a sequel, while I've read that many people believe it doesn't need one. They're right it doesn't need one, but I do.

Just a fantastic adventure and I could play it a few times over without getting bored at all.

I wouldn't be adverse to another Last of Us game that tells someone else's story. Same infection, different people

I reckon they could pull it off

But i would love to know what happens to Joel and Ellie once Joel makes his decision and they go and live at Tommy's dam. If the DLC is more episodes, and not MP content, i'll insta buy it

The sexual tension between the two continues to grow until Ellie's 18th Birthday. Tommy throws a big party at the dam but stupidly invites the clickers.

The clickers kill everyone except Joel and Ellie who manage to fight off all the clickers in a lengthy battle.

The two then finally 'get it on' ..... numerous times.

......9 months later - The human population welcomes 3 new people in the way of triplets.

2 little Ellies and a little Joel

The little munchkins are trained up to become battle savvy little warriors and BANG............ there is your sequel.

The DLC is one single player download (not specified what) and two lots of multiplayer downloads.

Heres a quote from one of the developers about DLC. "a little side story that we think is going to add more to what you've experienced." More of Joel and Ellie's journey, I'm tipping. Hopefully the hospital level makes it to the multiplayer.[/quote]

Had a good game with RobbieGray17 this arvo. When you have 2 or 3 friends playing its very hard to lose.
Cheers. I started losing after that, and some frustrating games. Ideally you would make sure each person has a different role. Everyone on a mic, marking, sticking together is worth so much. ITs hard though, when you have two people with the same challenge in a game, like reviving or marking. I was also spending all my time crafting and gifting, which showed in my low kill rate. TBH i'd prefer to play a game not reliant on earning suplies, and just kill all enemies to win.

Cheers for the game:thumbsu:

That's what COD is for :p

This game actually requires more strategy than you would think. It's evident in the number of people who complain at how hard the game is.

So I just put in a claim to ozgameshop.com to send me a replacement of The Last Of Us, hopefully I receive it this time.

I've never had a problem with ozgameshop, always found their customer service to be great. I'm sorry to hear you've been having so much trouble with getting the last of us from them. It must be very frustrating but I hope it'll all be resolved soon.

I think people who struggle solo won't like this game to a great extent. Failing having 1-3 friends most people seem to have a bad time.

I'm fine solo as in my skills, I just hold back a lot more and let them get slaughtered rather than myself.

This is probably the first game where I have a breakeven Kill/Death ratio. I think I do my part, but you just get obliterated with randoms.

This is one of the few games I seem to be actually ok at in all aspects.

Today was pretty sad...in several games I got between 10-16 downs...one ally had 0 and the other two had under 5.

Really the only thing that REALLY annoys me is when I'm the first to die on sudden death...I've had a total of 2 deaths all game and the others on my team have just been absolutely feeding. I just can't stand it.

I have to say, I'm new to multiplayer gaming and I'm not a responsive kinda player. I can get 10,10 every now and then, but sometimes I get smashed by better players and end up with 3-4 downs/Exec. I've noticed after the first completion, the players I'm playing are generally better. Since I've been playing the collecter/crafter/reviver, I've started getting a lot less downs/kills due to the fact I'm pretty much trying to craft and gift and mark. This is a problem with the game in a way. But I have played games with really good players on both teams, and I keep getting killed, and my team mates keep getting the kills, and I've ended up with hardly any kills. You are obviously a trained gamer whereas myself and many others aren't. I also think support players are handy, in revivers and markers. But you do need at least two players in the action.

Having said that, my games are 200% better with a team on mic. For example, the high school, random players run out side and get sniped by the opposition. A smart team would have two down bottom, two up top.

I like the idea of playing the same team multiple number of times. The university is an interesting one. When I first started playing, we would head down the left corridor from the sniper nest. Now we run to the fountain and hit the right corridor. I've noticed people sneak around the side, and thats when people had snipers on the other side ready. I've started sitting in the middle bricked wall bit waiting for those guys sneaking, then take them out with the support in the corridor on the other guys.

Good teams win by

Sticking together, but not on top of each other, how many times I've played randoms and 3 guys get molotoved at a toolbox or in that room at checkpoint. I always hang back and keep on the look out.

Marking - most underestimated task in the game, so many players don't do it, its a huge advantage.

Bombs - I had a team where 3 guys had their inventory full of bombs? WHY? most people drop bombs in the obvious places. I try to hide them in less than obvious places, and strike the unsuspecting players.

Planning - communication, setup and flanking. Having 4 guys with sniper rifles is pretty crazy.
