Benny talks about having corporate knowledge of the club and also his 5 years at the AFLPA being very valuable. Able to see how clubs operate with some clubs staying ahead of the pack and those that were reactive and chasing their tails.
Richmond hadn't modernised and evolved from the ruthless approach from the 70s, 80s and 90s to rational decision making by consensus. Need to get the club aligned on the same page and then build the business.
Footy Classified was scoffing at him back in 2010 and now we are the best run club in the comp.
