Alrighty, now that you're in with the facebookesque clickbaity title, Fox just published their list of the best drafting clubs since 2010.
http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/the...k/news-story/6fe6b904c9633b7db10bd08c482efb3e
Here's how North fared:
4. NORTH MELBOURNE
Ticks: 6
Crosses: 8
Average draft pick: 39.1
Average senior games played by selections: 28.3
Best picks: Shaun Atley (Pick 17, 2010), Ben Brown (Pick 47, 2013)
NORTH Melbourne’s spot in the top four of these rankings may surprise you given how much ink has been spilt talking about how the team is too old. The Kangaroos received six ticks out of 14 — they may not be enormous ticks, but they’re ticks nonetheless.
Most of them have come from 2012 and 2013 where the Roos have a crop of talented youngsters whose ability will likely determine whether they collapse in 2017 or hold onto a finals spot. Players like Taylor Garner, Trent Dumont, Mason Wood and Luke McDonald have all shown flashes which suggest they certainly have the potential to feature for years to come while Ben Brown has slotted into the forward line beautifully.
Average pick: (Interesting at best, higher list turnover [which we aren't famous for] pushes you further down the average pick list due to having more end of draft picks to take i.e Carlton, Dogs, Melbourne, Essendon, Collingwood)
