I consider the Weezsr album Pinkerton which was widely panned one of the first Emo albums, and I for one liked it a lot. Was my favorite Christmas present that year

Are panic at the disco emo? I'm not sure I never listen to them or were they a band that just got lumped in with the emo stuff. I had a mate that was into a band called Atreyu they're metal but then those emo kids jumped on board which completely ruin it for him. I don't think I'm in any danger of that happening with a lot of stuff I like ha.
