I think this needs to be released next to a Switch X/Pro console.
I would think there will be a revision by the time this comes out and it will be advertised as running best on the pro version.
If that's the case il be trading up my Switch

Don’t forget BOTW was a Wii U game. Even if this is only an ‘original’ switch game, it should be a noticeable upgrade.

BOTW’s graphics are pretty dated by today’s standards. I remember playing it after playing The Witcher on the One X. It really put it in perspective. I wouldn’t expect that much of a jump in hardware though.

It has a completely different art style to The Witcher, not sure you can compare the two

Remember there was only a year and a half between Ocarina and Majoras Mask. Pretty sure we've known about the sequel since it was rumored Monolith were collaborating on the project last year. They already have the engine and assets available, not being a Wii U game should see it look even better.
I'm expecting this, along side a more powerful Switch, to be their big E3 focus next year to combat the next gen consoles. Wouldn't be surprised with the game launching either March 2021 or Holiday 2021 at worst.

Oooh this is exciting! I was so sad when I finished BotW because it's such a beautiful game. I'm concerned there's not even an estimated release date though.
Zelda is very jagged in comparison. It’s a big downgrade.
I hope my extreme collection of Zelda amiibos are compatible with it 
It looks like the same world - slightly unusual from Nintendo but it would save a lot of work and time if they reused BOTW Hyrule.

The botw world was great so I’m happy with this. Would allow them to focus on more important stuff like gameplay improvements, music and the story.

Planning on restarting my save on Breath of the Wild and playing through the full DLC packs.
Finally got BOTW on switch. It's unreal. I've probably played about 10-12 hours. Regularly sidetracked with side-quests etc but in the best possible way. So many little things in it I appreciate.
Started another play through today, I rushed through the first time so planning on really exploring this time.
