I really dont get the issue with the art direction, looks unique and way better than A Link Between Worlds on 3DS which i considered generic looking.

Didn't like the art style either initially.
But having said that i also didn't like Wind Waker style initially, but grew to love it.

Even a second watch of the trailer, i already liked it a little more.
