We are already there sadly - there were no guard rails in place.
We know whats next. The people will try politics to even things up and when that fails, the people will just take all their stuff.

This is one of the 2 major reasons they push nuclear. That and so their mates can still own the mines that dig up uranium and whatever else goes into itAlso let me guess, they are going to keep coal fired generation online fro the couple of decades it takes to get nuclear?

An election with renewables v nuclear as its core issue only has one result.

You can argue it's because of self interest and not altruistic reasons, but Andrew Forrest has come out with anti-coalition remarks and opposed nuclear as a transition to renewables.

Being a by-election I think the donkey vote for this one could be a bit higher. It is an area that would usually be considered pretty politically disengaged which will make it higher as well.IIRC Donkey votes are usually about 1% of formal votes.
If that was the case here it may have made the swing look better for the Libs than it actually was.
Nuclear is the messiah. Keep doing what you're doing, consume the holy fossil fuels, for the promised land is coming. But you must put money in the collection plate or the Nuclear will frown upon thee.It is becoming increasingly clear that the Liberals are going to go all in on Nuclear.
Seriously WTF. Good luck
