Horror film starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, directed by Robert Eggers who made The Witch.

It was good. Things were distracting me while I watched so probably need to see it again. It's got a certain look it's really going for (movie is set well in the past). Not nearly as scary as The Witch but not without its scares.

There are some certain scenes that definitely linger in your mind. Because of how "horrifying" they are.

It's well worthy of a watch to see these actors completely lose themselves in madness.

My respect for Pattinson as an actor skyrocketed with his performance in Good Time. Look forward to seeing him with the terrific Defoe

I enjoyed it in a what the * is going on kind of way. Great performances by Dafoe and Pattinson. Cinematography fantastic.

I remember Willem Dafoe from two movies

Missippi Burning which was a great movie in it's time and
Wild at Heart which his character was a ******* nutter whiich trailers of this movie remind me of his performance there.

Saw it yesterday.

Happy to say the decisions made regarding the cinematography were effective and did not come across as a gimmick. Will be worth another watch one day. The best way I can describe it is as a "claustrophobic, isolated nightmare"

Strap yourselves in for a very creepy two hours!

Finished watching.
Did not really hit the mark with me.
I was expecting something more scary or interesting.
Nothing wrong with the acting.
Same sort of reaction I had with a movie like Picnic at Hanging Rock.

I liked it although it never hit great heights. It was very different though and held my interest throughout. The performances by both leads are outstanding.
