It will be bloody unbearable living in SA if Port manage to win ... & I'm too busy at work to go on holidays to escape.

Make matter worse, at a family dinner last night my Mum said to both my brother (also a Crows member) & I that "her team" won. Given my Mum's lack of interest in team sports (apart from rowing), we had no idea who she was talking about. She is now claiming to be barracking for the Power ... yet has not watched them play a single game! If it wasn't my Mum, would have called her a bandwager!

That's what I called my wife on Friday night. She went to her first game for the year. I got seriously drunk from about 1 pm. Works wonders

As for the injuries - last year we had 14 players under an injury cloud compare to this year's 4. Apparently we were ripe for the picking last year

Lynchy's a definate starter Browny 80/20 but he played out the last game instead of comming off so he should be fine for 1 game, Craig McRae is a chance but i doubt it - what a sad end to a great carrer =;^( - & its game over 4 Harty

i feel for you, having to work amongst them!! atleast you can bag them after you win, pity bout the roosters yesterday though, they played poorly i was so disappointed in them but they had a good year!!

though i couldnt bare it if they won, i hate most of their supporters, like all clubs they have some that are alright!! but no way could i take it if they won, id be leaving town on the next flight to Alice Springs to go stay with my aunt and uncle for atleast a month whilst the histaria died down

I was in a supermarket at Norwood this morning, and they were putting up teal, black and white streamers and balloons. I couldn't believe my eyes. I almost commented, but held back (I've got into a bit of trouble opening my big mouth recently.) But honestly - Port colours in the heartland of Norwood? What's the world coming to?

I'm happy for Power fans to have their fun...from my point of view I hope the Power lose...but that's just me - and I'm sure there's heaps of people around with less extreme views.

In 97 and 98 I barracked for the Crows with all of my might and they got up and I also made a bit of money on the side. I urge all SA footy lovers to get on the Power and lets hope a bit of history is made. Get on 'em now

IMO, the Lions are already the greatest team of the modern era. An absolutely awesome combination of skill, discipline and commitment. Win or lose, I will be telling the grandkids about them.

I had thought that a Port vs Lions GF would be a tight match and a great match to watch but after last week I think the Power will be overwhelmed by the occasion.

I think its funny that KG has jumped right back on the Port bandwagon after the past few years telling everyone he is definately not a Port supporter. Now all of a sudden he loves us again. Gimme a break.

Agree with what you also said. Its a club based competition, not a state based one. Quite frankly we dont want Crows supporters support same as you wouldnt want ours. If you dont support us during the year I see no reason why anyone of you would put all your support behind us now.

Ive heard too many people recently change their tune from hating us to suddenly going from us. Plenty of people that i talk to at work or whatever have gone from 'you bunch of chokers' to 'what a great win we had on the weekend'. We? pfftt there is no we or us.

So really, i wouldnt expect you to support us this weekend.

But in fairness people generally like to choose one team to go for in the grand final when their team isn't there. Some will go for Port, some will go for Brisbane. KG chose Port. I chose Brisbane. Who cares?

Apparently Binnie ( as he likes to be called ) is a natural midfielder, great evasive skills....

yeah agree, anyone who can evade that well tied up to a dialysis machine - pretty handy skill

Oh and for me Go the Lions (please, please, please) The in-laws are over here at the moment and my partner's mum (who is a loverly lady normally) is a power supporter but knows nothing about football - so I have been coping it from her! At least on the plus side if they win I am all the way over here in the UK (my mum will go into mourning if they win)
