So I wake up, turn on the TV to Fox Sports 2 and what do I see?

Everton 2-0 down at Blackburn and playing as badly as anything I've seen from us in recent years! Radzinski's pulled one back, but I'm starting to be very, very worried about how our season's going to turn out.

Our lack of any kind of midfield at all is our downfall. I don't think we lack too much in defence or attack, while Watson and McFadden can work the flanks. We have nobody of quality in the centre of the park, as Moyes failed to address that in the summer.

We shouldn't stand for this kind of crap, not now and not ever.

Needless to say, if I were in charge of Everton and our boys put in this kind of pathetic display, words can't describe how angry I would be!

And it end up 2-1 to Blackburn. Improved second half performance from Everton, but it wasn't enough.

We paid the price for creating nothing in an utterly dreadful first half, as bad as I've seen from Everton. What the hell is Moyes thinking, in believing Gravesen, Nyarko and Kilbane are good enough for us?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I won't stand for this anymore. We've waited so patiently, but now is time for some action. Words can't describe my rage now!

The E4E campaign has hit an iceberg.

Blackburn needed that one badly, but when you look at the ladder, so did the Toffees. And "Roo-naldo" is injured again?

Lack of decent signings over the summer was always going to be a problem if injuries hit, it was always ambitious to expect improvement on what is a very similar squad. Unsworth is on his way too isn't he?

It was a collectively poor performance, and saying that is an understatement. I'll agree, the lack of summer signings is what's hurting us now.

All that shows is that (1) Moyes seems to have an aversion to creative types and wants "honest professionals" who are adequate and no more, or (2) our board lacks ambition and should be driven out. I'm starting to think our fans should organise large-scale protests, phone-ins, etc in a "Sack the Board" campaign. I wished we were a little more militant, than just laying idle and letting the goons destroy our club.

In other news - HUZZAH! ROVERS WIN!
Got outselves out of the relegation zone this morning with a 2-1 win over Everton with Babbel and Yorke scoring with headers.

We looked alot better today. Top marks to Steven Reid, our signing from Millwall. I've been a bit uncertain over him so far, but he was very busy and effective today. We've been lacking a leftsided presence on the midfield - Brett Emerton filled that role very well today. It made a difference.

Yorke suffered a thigh injury, but we have Paul Gallagher ready to go. He's a talent.

Oh, and hats off to Andy Todd. He played competently today.

There's hope for Blackburn yet.

P.S. I like the look of that McFadden bloke. Can play.

WE MUST START McFADDEN EVERY GAME! There is no other option. He's simply fabulous with the ball at his feet, his flicks and tricks are just brilliant!

I say we ought to go for someone like Vince Grella when the transfer window opens. At least he's got the qualities we desparately need, the qualities we've sorely lacked in the centre since Peter Reid was with us. That, and a playmaker alongside him. Tim Cahill maybe, as he's just been cleared to play for Australia.

Grella = wholehearted commitment, passion, tenacity and no little skill

Cahill = creativity, SCORES GOALS

It's a no brainer basically. Neither will break the bank, and they can play together for both club and country to boot.

He's more than held his own with Empoli in Serie A, and attracted the attention of bigger clubs, and I think he could be on his way as Empoli are rock bottom. Like I said, his passion and commitment are precisely what we need now. But what we also need is a creative player in the centre with a delicate touch, a certain elegance which would hark back to a bygone era.

Ah, that's true. If Empoli get relegated, there's a fair bit of talent I'd love to get my hands on (Antonio Di Natale!).

If/when Grella makes his move to English Football, I have no doubts he could hold his own.

Di Natale would be another good buy, and I'm sure we can raid Italy's lower divisions too.
Parma has had an interest in Di Natale for a looooong time. We tried to pick him up when Mutu left for Chelski but Empoli wouldn't bite. When Adriano goes back to Inter (as presumed), I'd expect Di Natale would be one of the targets that Parma goes for especially if they Empoli get relegated.

All I want for Christmas is some rich sugar daddy to come and wipe out our debts and buy half a team!

Could we end up with some wealthy foreign head of state, or even a celebrity like Vince MacMahon?!?

One question- are there three teams in the Premiership worse than we are?

Or could we really fall down this time, ending a 50-year spell at the highest level? God, I really hope not! :(

If there's anything positive to come out of that game, it's the fact that Everton brought 6000 fans over! Our fans, as always, are simply AMAZING and the claim to have among the best fans on the world can be justified. The fact that we've taken so much pain over the years, yet turned out in big numbers week in, week out proves that.

Relegation is already decided IMO (presuming no major cash injections at either club). Wolves , Leicester , and Leeds (don't think  won't happen either) are clearly the worst three in the league. Everton, Blackburn are playing crap but have a heap of improvement in them. Wolves, Leicester and Leeds don't IMO.

Do you REALLY mean that?!? How can we not suffer when we have seen one of the game's greatest clubs run into the ground by spineless goons over this time? So maybe we have been lucky in not getting relegated, but it is suffering nonetheless.

When your derby match is div 2 against Tranmere, in the same year Liverpool win the league for the 4th or 5th time in 6 years, on the way to a League, FA Cup and Champions League treble then come and talk to me about suffering. ;)
