Talk about an improvement, this song gets me pumped every time

It has it all. Noise, that cool chipmunk voice thing and Siberiaaaa!!! (I'd like to go there someday!)

Just like AAF's Smooth Criminal, it's a huge upgrade on the original and plus the guy kinda looks like Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai so that goes against him in my book.

Here's the original, if there's even any point in comparing:rolleyes:

you have got to be kidding the dude looks like the lost member of Bros FFS. Even if supertramp arent your cup of tea they have a chapter in musical history this clown will be lucky to be a footnote.

One of the best songs from one of the best albums ever made (Breakfast in America)... I think Supertramp wins.

Supertramp's version is a classic, and it was original. Seems anybody can sample the music and riffs of others, add a modern touch and be considered better. While some of it is catchy, the fact they decided to sample the original in the first place is testiment to how good the original was.

And I have to confess I did like Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal because it was a little heavier but the difference is probably negligible and MJ gets credit for being the original.

Wasn't that remix done at the start of last decade? It's a horrible remix, I think I'd rather listen to the sample auto-tuned than chipmunked, and that's saying an awful lot about how bad it is.

Get out there and listen to some original electronic music that isn't cheesy crap, there's plenty of good stuff out there.

The original by Supertramp is a classic.

At Vance with Oliver Hartmann on vocals did a heavier cover which is quite good for those who are that way inclined.
