No, I think he is suggesting that anybody that is smeared in faeces should not be in the side. I think that is exactly the type of player we need to spread the packs and wins clearances.

Good midfields have been squeezed for decades. If they are really good they fight their way out of it. I think ours is down due to injury and form and maybe it does not run as deep as we need for when these factors occur but it is definitely better than it has shown. In the past it has relied too heavily on individual efforts and will now have to give a lot more thought on how to negate the squeezers and adapt to different ruck scenarios
