Not sure about this either. I would've preferred to wait until the end of the season to have a crack at Nagelsmann, Rodgers, Hasenhuttl or even ten Hag. Tuchel is still a better choice than Allegri but his recent indiscretions have left a pretty bad taste.

Lampard should go back and cut his teeth at a Championship Club for a couple of years, and continue his to cut his managerial teeth there.

Actually think if he could turn around the struggles of a famous club like Nottingham Forest, that would work wonders for his CV.

Trigger happy Roman again. Should have at least seen out the season with the new signings. Expectations for him to challenge for a title after spending big were unrealistic. They weren’t Man City type top ups, it was an entire new starting 11. Disapppinted he wasn’t backed a bit more. Pep and Klopp took years to get City and Liverpool to where they are. It was a long term prospect and now we’re back to Roman chasing titles with time bombs for managers. Loves a Mourinho type does Roman. Win a title, fall out with the manager and move on to the next one.

He made the top 4 of the PL. What an embarrassing notion that he needs to go back to the Championship to prove himself.

Top 4, FA Cup final, Champions league knockouts and he gets given 18 months (12 of them being under a transfer ban) to try and win a title I’m assuming? Sure we havent looked great lately but if you’re getting the results he was by “not looking great” I was excited to see what happened if he ever got it all together. Based on Franks sacking im expecting Klopp and Arteta to be shown the door tomorrow. Disgraceful decision, and to a club legend no less. Fairly sick of no one being given a chance to build something and the club looking for instant success. Tuchel is going to be a classic Chelsea signing. Might get us a few trophies but he’ll be gone in 2 years too.

Ah the objector is back to object!

He did that with a squad that finished 3rd the year before and only had one major subtraction in Eden Hazard. Hardly a glowing endorsement is it?

Side loses best player and all sides around and below them strengthen. Chelsea played kids who had previously only cut their teeth in the championship like Mount and Abraham.

Ludicrous to sack Lampard when Ole is showing what a bit of perseverence can bring.

Ole hasn't shown anything yet apart from where luck can get you. Remember those 4 semi finals they've lost? They should have dumped him when they had the chance and they'd be 10 points clear at the top.

"kids". Basically those two you named but they also strengthened the team with Pulisic prior to that ban. The only team that arguably strengthened in 2019-20 was United and that was after Penandes came in. Leicester didn't, Spurs did with Ndombele who struggled.
