Step down on recent form sure.
Leipzig are a club with little history in their infancy and the foxes are midlands minnows.

Doubt we even change manager. 30m payout is steep.
We're just going to bumble around Europa places for a couple of years anyway waiting for revenues to return.

The step down for Nagelsmann is clear. It’s not about Leipzig it’s about his next step. He will be one of the most in demand managers if he sees his contract out. If Flick gets the DFB job he’ll walk in to Bayern.

Midlands minnows? We’ve been one of the better run clubs for the last several years.

Think we deserve a bit more respect than “minnows”

Historically. Thought the comment on recent form made that implied.

Very well run club though. The stadium plans will end up being bigger than Chelsea.

The transformation under their Thai owners since they finally returned to the Premier League has been nothing short of remarkable. They have set a template for Leeds and other promoted clubs with ambition to follow (not necessarily by winning the league but by spending and putting infrastructure and investments in place to regularly compete for European places.

Of course, this is a process that does not happen overnight, takes several years to happen.
