Could have made history but a mid table club awaits.

Must have been tapped up by Leicester way before Puel was sacked too. It all happened quickly.

He could've stayed in Scotland, continuing to belt clubs with players on £800 a week.

Or he could go to the biggest league in the world, get paid more for it, and if things go well move on to big clubs that aren't stuck in B leagues.

You do know he already managed one of the biggest clubs in the world in Liverpool, and Celtic is a bigger club than Leicester.

Gordon Strachan:
Let’s get one thing clear: Celtic are a giant club. One of the biggest in the world. Far bigger than Leicester. But that’s not the comparison – the league in England is far advanced of Scotland’s that it’s untrue.

There’s a point when you’re in Scotland when you say ‘I’m at a huge club here, but is it enough?’ Was the league still testing Brendan? It did for the first season or two, because it was fresh, but it mightn’t have felt fresh anymore.

Where would he go with them next season? His best team was probably in his first season.

Small things like having to play on three plastic pitches every season, which rattles him, or the fact that you can’t progress in the Champions League – Europe has probably been the one disappointment for Brendan at Celtic but, without spending £150 million, I don’t know what more he and his coaching team could do.

At least I'm not Bobby Madley
Interested to see how Parker goes, one of my favourite Hammers for when he played with us, hope he does well there.

Should give him the job permanently. They’re going down. Give him a chance with the good youth academy and his good yourh coaching record in the championship

Solsjkaer reminds me a bit of Stuart Pearce taking over from Keegan.

Bought in as an interim but did so well the club has no option but to make.it full time.

Thing is, United under Ole feels for the first time like the United under Fergie. Since Fergie left they just haven't looked or seemed to be the same club, but a bit of that swagger and never say die attitude seems to be back.
It's also the first time since Fergie we've had a manager that actually deploys attacking tactics, besides the few weeks under Giggs.

United have to give it to Ole now. The fans want it as do the players. For all the good work Poch has done they’ll still be looking at him and thinking what’s he actually won. Ole will get the job unless they totally fall apart from here in in which they won’t

Papers over here saying that Solskjaer is locked in as United boss. Ole met with one of the Glazers after the post game presser. Just waiting for Woody to announce.
