Jose was against the club's owners decision to form a "super league" .
Fair play to the man. Maybe he will be back at Porto next season or Benfica !

What a shambles of a club
Levy doesn't care.
Nice big bonus coming his way for blagging Spurs into a Super League.
Last league title 1961, UEFA Cup win 1984, FA Cup 1991.

Glazers, Henry/FSG, Kroenke etc don't give a **** about the everyday supporter or their concerns.
Managers come and go.
Joe Lewis & Levy, value of their shareholding increased, lose a manager, gain wealth, so be it.

2nd game in charge, cup final vs Pep.....

What's the record cup final margin?
Mason is very switched on. Don't turn on him just yet.

Not turning on him at all. Feel sorry for him that he has been thrown into the deep end so early against such a daunting prospect, Pep in a cup final 2nd up.

Glad he gets a game mid week against the Saints for it not to be his first game in charge. From all reports during the international break Mason's u18 side drew 1-1 with our senior side (from who wasn't on int. break)

The Athletic article saying how much Jose had lost the dressing room and Kane was the only one still supporting him said it all really.

Wonder if Bayern Munich try to lock in Nagelsman before the end of the next week.

If they can't get him, I'm going to go with either Potter or Parker as the replacement if they go domestic...

Potter maybe. Parker? Has he really done enough?

Done about as much as Potter. Just with a slightly worse squad.

Says to me we have loser bottlejobs and one world class winner with the right mentality.

Doubtful but thinking more so the former player connection more than anything.

Just saw Roberto Martinez and Southgate get linked in the Guardian also.
Martinez and I'm seriously done. What an awful ****ing choice that would be

"As the reality of Mourinho’s methods became apparent, it did not take long for the Tottenham players to pine for the days of Pochettino.

Under the Argentinean, the team had a clear philosophy of play which they would work on perfecting every day. Under Mourinho, that went out of the window. His approach was to tailor different tactics to every single opponent, designed to exploit their own distinct weaknesses. Players remarked that as they got closer to every match, the atmosphere was increasingly marked by fear of what might go wrong. Spurs were so fixated on what the opposition might do, they forgot to focus on their own game."

From the athletic piece on the Mourinho sacking. This really does not surprise me at all. Watching us that's how it has felt.

I never understood Mou joining Spurs. He is totally against the "to dare is to do" ethos of the club. He's no longer a winner and had a record of blowing clubs up / getting sacked.

Dare to do ethos? Haven't been champions in England for over 60 years.

Dare to not be conservative (when it comes to spending money on quality players should be their true motto really.
