He was -4 after the 14th - then doubled 15 and 17. But yes, a remarkable effort.

How many majors does he finish on? Could easily be none or there could be a couple more.

He is still pretty young, don't see any reason he can't get another 4-5. Talent has never been the issue for him

I'd say history is a pretty compelling reason why he won't get another 4-5! They are hard to win.

Yes but he is a talent and he is only 35. He could possibly win another 1or 2 this year. But yes they are hard to win as you have so many talented players all playing in the same event. Great thing about golf is that 1 of 50 or even more can win any week.

But guess next year, we won't have the usual crowd talking Rory can't close out the Masters. Maybe they switch to Rose now, he has now failed in 2 playoffs.

That's how I feel about watching Carlton losing. It's been a great century so far.

It was one of the greatest Masters - for viewing - simply due to the eventual winner playing bipolar golf. Some of the worst ever shots by a tournament leader combined with some of the best.

Rory did his absolute best to blow it, fortunately fate gave him one more chance.

I'm not Rory's biggest fan but even I sat there going thats an incredible shot under immense pressure. He did it multiple times in the tournament and hence got the chocolates

Dottie on 15 - went something like, "he's got a 7 iron. He has to get it to go under the tree, then go high and turn left". Which sounded pretty impossible. And then he makes the shot.
