Nope wrong again, it's just not what the term was being used. You guys were all stating the Grand slam was a burden to him and rightfully pointed out he is not close to a grand slam. Career grand slam is whatever it is.

And burden on him, thats like saying the billionaire only made 300 million last year and he is struggling with the financial pressure.
Plenty of guys don't win any majors, to say because you haven't won one of them yet is a burden is simply a joke.

It's a fair burden for a guy who thinks he's god's gift to golf and carries on like he's bigger than Jack and Tiger put together.

Unlikely as it is on current form, it would be funny if Spieth immediately joined Rory in the career slam group in the very next major 🙃

As much as I would like this to happen, The Golden Child has transformed into Just Another Guy.

His mud ball whining on the weekend was not cool.

It was only pressure because Rory brought it on himself.

4 double bogeys and giving up putts along the way. Should’ve been an easy -15 week for him, given how well he played. Finally the shackles are off, maybe he ll go for broke now and perhaps go to the next level with no l pressure

Another great Masters,
Congrats to Rory and also Justin.
Now we can all get some much deserved rest until the British Open.
There are two majors in between though?

US open is the best just for how unfairly brutal it is, although they've gone soft in recent years with all the players whining about the course

My bad will edit my post,
  • The Masters, which takes place every April at the famed at Augusta National club in Georgia.
  • The PGA Championship in May, which was previously held at the end of the season, rather than in mid-spring.
  • The U.S. Open in June.
  • The British Open in July.

What were people's thoughts on pin position on 16?

Moving it from traditional spot to today's spot as part of 50th anniversary of Nicklaus master's win.
I did wonder why it was up there...

Tougher to get the ball up there and stay there, rather than using the backboard - the two shots from Rory & Bryson in reg were awesome.

Wasn’t 16 one of the new greens? Maybe that had something to do with it? The Saturday pin was nasty. Possibly cost Rose the tournament.

Jack’s 50th is next year.

Great to see Rory finally complete the Grand Slam and cement his spot as an all time great. He's had some misses in the majors but is now the undisputed best player since Tiger.

Incredible performance today under such pressure(some of his own making). Impressive how he has come back from the disappointments of last year to win.

Hopefully with the pressure off he go on to win more majors.

Nicklaus won in 1975, so this was the 50th.

Rose three putting from 3 feet was bonkers.

Reed 3 putting 13 was completely bonkers. Would have joined the playoff if he had (assuming the round played out as it did).

Imagine if he won the playoff preventing Rory from the Grand Slam. Would have cemented his status as one of golf's greatest ever heels.

I'd say history is a pretty compelling reason why he won't get another 4-5! They are hard to win.
I’m tipping that he’ll stop missing those short putts now that he has his Masters victory. Five or six more major victories for Rory minimum if he doesn’t lose the hunger!

On a side note, how often do you see someone bomb it nearly past the bunker on 18. **** I’m jealous! 😂

He is a shocker but geez he is good to watch. Hands are so good. Guess we don’t see him until next year?

I thought it made the hole easier {if you can say that, with all the pressure that was building}, can see why they did it, but I didn't like it, but for a special occasion for one of the legends you can't really argue , can you.
