Based on my keen observations, there are some matches on Bigfooty that I think would work particularly well. At least if you meet someone on here you are guaranteed the other person likes footy.

I'm wondering if it'd be cool for people to post their interests and genereal location and have people message each other if they're interested in getting to know each other?

It is also free unlike all those rip off dating sites.

Obviously you wouldn't want to give too much away as there are a few crazies on interwebs.

I think because I floated the idea on our chit chat thread. Seems like a few WA people too. Weird. FYI I live with my hubby and kids North of the river. He is an Eagles supporter. Nobody is perfect, right? We were going for Freo in the GF though.

when I met my husband (we have been married for 20 yrs) he was a West Perth supporter and I was East Fremantle...he had to convert and join the Sharks lol It meant more than him being Anglican and me being Catholic. I couldn't imagine us both supporting different AFL teams! very very brave

It is pretty tense when they play each other. We also have a few arguments over who the kids should follow. He will probably win out there though as his team is the local team.

Our son tried to be a Hawthorn supporter years ago, until I told him he would have to find a new family - he now bleeds purple
