Who watched it on Sunday night?

It's the second time I've seen it. Originally I was disappointed in the ending. It didn't have enough closure for me. But seeing it for the second time I have changed my mind. Maybe knowing there is a sequal makes the ending OK.

It's a wicked movie, really, even though keeanu can't fight for sh*t and runs like his been raised on a saddle.

Fishburne and Weaving absolutely nail their roles.

It's in my top 10 best movies for sure.

I have one question though.
Can anyone explain to me the theory behind the telephones and exiting the Matrix?

I watched it last night and I've already forgotten the ending, lol.

Hey, what's the website with all the movie mistakes on it again?

when i saw the matrix i was sitting there thinking WTF? then when the ending came on it got better but i didnt really like it that much.

I was like Ripper until last night. It was my third viewing and I mustn't have really been paying attention the first couple of times, but it all came together finally!

Who here actually thinks we are in the Matrix now and being used as batteries for Artificial Intelligence??? :p

I can see how the movie could be a little confusing, but I thought they did an excellent job of explaining/substantiating a very far fetched story line.

I thought it was good, but that the rescue of Morpheus was very gratuitous....for people in a hurry, they sure ****ed around a lot getting to him.

Watched a bit of it last night, doesn't look half as good as it did in the movies with the widescreen.
Can't wait for "The Matrix Reloaded' (tentative title, mind you).

I think it is an exit for their minds?? Technically they aren't really in the Matrix, only their minds are, so they create a line from the real world into the matrix database, and this allows them to enter and exit the matrix:) Doesn't really make too much sense, but that'll do.

I think anyway.

Me and my mate asked the same question the other night re. the hard line telephones and we came to the conclusion that it helped the plot.

If all they had to do was to use a mobile, tug on their ear lobe or click their ruby red shoes together when they were in trouble, then the movie would have sucked!

So you are not a wizard of oz fan?

I thought the hard line telephones acted like reference points, so their exact location in the Matrix could be determined.

But it still doesn't make much sense?
