First major hit out for him, so to be expected really. We also kept kicking it to him when he was out numbered. Not having Lobb up there as he would have trained, couldn't have helped either. It's probably going to take him a little while, unfortunately If we can find him some meaningful tall support.

Horrible game to come in for first hit out. McGovern, Barrass and Hurn must’ve smiled all day with the gameplan. Wasn’t expecting much, just get a run. Will be good for Melbourne though.
Forward line needs work. Yikes

It's pre-season so who cares but... the only way that could have been a more quintessential Tabs game would have been if he kicked 2.4 (+1 oof and 1 into the motm).

Reminds me of Last years effort from Acres, he went on to play well aftern that.I hope that is the case here but that was a pretty woeful effort from Taberner.

Great the club has shown faith in his professionalism and work ethic in that he changed from a ‘WTF’ player, to a contested-marking-beast, goal-kicking power forward!

And that he has shown faith and loyalty in the club when he could have been fielding big offers to go home.

Good work all round! 👍🏽👍🏽
