The problem is not contested mark , dropping uncontested mark and allow opposition to rebound quickly.

Did you watch McCarthy and Kersten on the weekend. They couldn't even create a contest/cause a spill. Continually outmarked, outmuscled, outplayed.

My selection of tab for freo got nothing to do with those two but Griffin . Tab and Griffin combo can't win a single wafl match this year. Since Griffin play ruck, freo can't win a single match . Basically playing Griffin is like playing 17 players on field.

I think he's playing poorly because he has a terrible boring nickname. Tabs. I mean come on....

Give him a proper nickname like 'Maggie' and he'll quickly bounce back to his best. Tabs. FFS people.

I find these statistics for contested marks mind boggling.What is the definition of a contested mark these days?I don't think I have ever seen Taberner take seven marks let alone seven contested marks in a game.It would be great if he stepped up to the level required and I certainly have nothing against the man but all this talk of "clunking" contested marks f*$£k me swinging.Cox showed more football nouse as an 18 year old in his first game.

I suppose if you never watch games you won't see them.

Taberner was our leading contested mark last year, and was top 20 in the league. Against Essendon this year he took 7 contested in a game.

Quoting stats again mate.Iwas working on construction in Qld for our first two years in the the comp and joined as a member on my return to WA.I only gave up my membership when I came back to Tassie.I have seen every game he has played,either live or on tv and probably more Dockers games than a lot of crew who post on here.

Read the post genius.I questioned the definition of a contested mark.If it means holding a mark with an opponent 3 paces behind you then great he takes lots.If it means taking a mark when an opponent is trying to to chop your arms or punch you in the back the head then he has taken bugger all.

The lengths to which people will go to bag Taberner never ceases to amaze me.

I'm with you that he we don't have a choice but to play him but if you googled Taberner falconed in goal square you would get a few hits as well

My Personal opinion, Griffin should play if we have no other available ruckman. Just like Dawson, play him if we have no alternative choice.

Tabs has to play. Tabs might be and average player but he Will never be the worst forward to ever play for us.

Well you know more than me as you follow Peel games. Yeah I know tabs only got 2 goals in the WAFL on the Weekend. have said this many times. Give tabs a Full season and he will kick 30 goals.

Tabs is a guy that averages around 10 disposals a game and on a good day only kicks 2 or 3 goals.
