Ah, but Essendon FC membership is higher up the hierarchy than just plain fandom...
Plenty of supporters here who aren't even members.
Me and Essendon go back to the days of Timmy Watson, Simon Madden, Neale and Terry Daniher, Mark Harvey, Paul Salmon, etc

Had such a good view of it. As a mate said to me straight after, you could see it coming, which made it even better.

Dunno if it means anything, but on the AFL site on the video wrapup of "the best marks of the week", McPhee's mark is in there. Although not the official "mark of the week" video, it is still a good sign. I reckon Beau Waters will push McPhee's mark for mark of the week even if it gets nominated though.

Well it's official. McPhee's mark is not in contention for mark of the week. McVeigh's Goal is up for goal of the week though. What a weird world.

Hard to get mark of the week when the umpire doesnt give it a mark. Dont care if the free was there just before it the ump should have paid the mark, we need more of these in the AFL.

It doesnt look like anyone else is going to correct u on this so i might as well, i believe the free-kick was paid to him so you lost 2 points in dreamteam.
I know this is a pointless comment but I believe it had to be done.

Nah the free kick was paid to whoever the Bomber player was in front. Hows this, McPhee takes a massive mark that doesnt get paid and Pav kicks an amazing goal that doesnt make the best 3 for the round. I cant even remember McVeighs goal.

Tackles Carr(i think) then gets up and picks up the ball and slots one through on a tight angle.
