think i've given myself an eating disorder

i put on a stupid amount of weight after leaving high school, went from about 65kg to 110kg (I'm about 185cm tall) in the space of two years through a shocking diet and a massive lifestyle change

moved back in my folks last year and started losing it again, got back down to 95kg but still wasn't happy with how I looked so started not eating a lot and I shed a lot of weight

made me pretty sick at the time so i tried not to do it as much but i weigh about 82-83 kg now and just thinking about eating makes me feel ill. i've gone from three meals + snacks to two meals + snacks to eating only once a day. thrown up a few times after trying to eat a large portion too

When I was in emergency a few weeks ago, a guy was brought in at 3am with suspected meningitis and was put in the bed next to mine. He rang his wife (who was in the childrens ward with their 3 week old daughter, who also had suspected meningitis) and had her on speaker phone. The heartbreak in her voice is something that will stay with me.

Anyone itt takes or taken sleeping tablets? Pros cons.. highs lows etc. I need sleep. I camt remember the last time i slept for longer than 5/6 hours solidly
Temazepam works well for short term but doctors HATE prescribing it due to addictive potential.

“The recent detection of M. ulcerans in Melbourne’s inner north means this location is a new area of interest. This is the first non-coastal area in Victoria to be recognised as a potential area of risk, however, the risk of transmission in these areas is considered low,” Victoria’s Health Department said in a statement.

The low infection rate doesn’t mean that it is not serious. In some cases, sufferers have been left with large open wounds where the skin does not grow back.

This is wholesome af. We are yet to meet the donor for my niece but they are hopeful. If anyone is ever interested in donating marrow please do so. If you're ever called just know that you are the last hope for someone to survive. Often they use a sibling or sometimes family member but there chances where they are not matches and need to look on the registry. All you have to do is a mouth swab at first, then if called it's just like a blood donation.

Anyone on a massive streak???

I cannot even recall the last time I had a cold or was ill... oh wait yes I can. Oct 2019. Had to go home due to asthma + was on meds for a week. But thats not a cold... a cold would have been even before that, maybe in Term 2 of 2019

Other than this sore throat I haven't had a general illness in over a year. Been 10+ years since I last vomited how ever.

As I used to work at a school, I would get sick on average 2 times a year.

Vomit.... ah thats easy. 2016, week leading up to the GF.

Bad piece of cheesecake.

The last time i vomited was about 30 years ago when i snuck sausages to a vegetarian BBQ.. (that will teach me). The next day i had the worst headache i ever had, I could not get out of bed and since then i have resisted vomiting even when i had a really bad stomach bug where i collapsed from nausea. It came out the other end though in torrents (sorry lol). I dont think anyone can beat my non vomit streak. Quite proud of that one!

I've vomited... 4 times in my life. (that I can recall- ie. hardly remember the ones when I was a baby).

No 5 times.

Once down the beach house. (kid)
Once threw up spaghetti and apple pie (kid)
Once threw up on King St at 3am (drinking- 2000)
Once threw up at Mantra Apartments in Geelong (drinking- 2006)

and the bad cheese cake incident of 2016.
