Forget about the affects Danger's defection will have on children. Has anyone sent an "R U OK" text to Barnsey at Solomons Carpets yet?
Barnsey at Solomon's Carpets will be thrilled, three months later and you're still talking about him. Best 10k of advertising money he'll ever spend. He's probably not even a Crows supporter.

Talking about and buying from are two entirely different things though...

Replace children with "a friend of mine" and you're probably getting closer to the truth of that article. It's a clandestine way of addressing immature Crows fans that have had their belief that the AFC is a football Hotel California rocked to the core.

We haven't had that spirit here
Since nineteen ninety eight

And still those voices are calling from far away...

Now, I'm no advertising guru, but setting yourself up publicly to look like a failure probably isn't the soundest of advertising strategies, I'd have thought.

"Think I'll go and pity purchase a roll of Berber off that lovely chap Barnsey" doesn't quite ring true for mine.

Yes, that's acute immaturity for you. Booing Paddeedee will be laughed off by the likes of S.Rowe as cute immaturity.
forget the boos, I welcome paddy back with open arms when we play Geelong and I'll be giving him a standing ovation for all the lols.

I was about to say I'd look forward to the going out of business sale, but carpet stores are always having those anyway, so...

We can't have a go at them if they Booo Dangerfield, we have some of 'those' who still Booo our Premiership player Shaun Burgoyne.
I cringe so much when the Port crowd boos Shaun. Guess it proves that every Club has ill informed idiots as supporters...

Couldn't agree more. This year at the Etihad game I had some guy sitting a few rows back going absolutely mental every time Shaun went near the ball. I reckon he dropped the "Peter's brother" joke about 27 times, and I'm sure he could've got in a few more if he wasn't interrupted by his own booing rampage.

It was 6 years ago ffs. Time to move on brother.

Especially considering Hawthorn compensated us rather generously with picks, probably at Shaun's insistence.

Exactly, it wasn't as if he went all Nick Stevens on us.

This may belong in the unpopular opinions thread but if Shaun wanted back in for one or two years, and he was still capable of playing at his current level, I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

In retrospect I should have sat my then 9 and 7yos down when we lost Troy Chaplin, and made sure they were dealing with it ok.
I would have thought it'd be more appropriate for Dads from Richmond families to sit their young kids down, and see how they're coping with the idea of Troy Chaplin coming to their club.
