He chokes on his sandwich from time to time and he has spilled mayo all over the crotch of his pants but that's part and parcel of really hoeing into a sandwich and Patty just doesn't know any other way. He'll take a few heimlich manoeuvres and mayo stains because eating sandwiches like that is just how he is and he doesn't know any other way.

Once he had a glass of wine with that sandwich and it made him feel woozy. Not that he wants to harp on it but the broad palate of that wine really had an effect on him but he still went in after that sandwich. Not belabouring the point but that full-bodied glass of wine nearly took him out of his lunch.

When Roy & HG first started they ran with a very simple philosophy - trivialise the sensational and sensationalise the trivial. They'd rather discuss what items Peter Tunks was seen throwing into the dryer at his local laundrette than how Paul Salmon's hamstring injury was coming along. Who'd have known that all these years later the mainstream sports media would take their philosophy and run with it.

I bet he bit through that sandwich though. No gears, no holding back. Chomp chomp chomp it was gone. It's lucky he has the genes and upbringing to really bite into a sandwich and not give it a chance to bite back. I bet other diners went up to him after and told him he really took that sandwich on and they were in awe of his bravery. No fear of the crusty bread.
That's jut the way my dad taught me. If you see a sandwich, he used to say, put your head down and bite it as hard as you can and finish it the way you started with big hard bites. If you bite off more than you can chew just keep your head down and chew even harder. That's what dad taught me and that's how I eat. If I get indigestion and feel like vomiting its worth when I see an empty plate in front of me. Even my sister who eats at a local amateur level goes about it the same way except she doesn't even chew, she just swallows it down, wipes the mayo off her chin and goes looking for the next sandwich.

I was referring to this part of the great paddy's article....."Even my sister, Bethany, when playing in her local netball competition, plays her matches with a fierce desire and intensity."

:)
I know, I got that. It's just that if you re-read your last sentence again it starts to sound like you're talking about something else ...

I was attempting some poor sleight of hand and I am distancing myself from such vulgarity. ;)

I love Johnny Bravo.

Walks past a mirror in his house:

Dials 911 - "Police? a handsome man has broken into my house"

Looks back into mirror

"It's ok it's just me"

That might not be word perfect but I haven't seen it for 10 years or more, it's weird to find a show that mirrors your own life so closely.
