I've said it before, but his horrible voice aside, I don't mind him at all. Just watching the game recording now, and when Dwayne Russell listed the outs for Port and said they were "12 of the best 22", Ricciuto said "More like 12 of the best 15". He talks sense quite a lot of the time.
Definitely agree with that. Voice is a bit grating, but he knows his stuff and is willing to say it as it is.

Obviously he has a bit of a soft spot for the Crows, but I don't see too much of a problem with that because he's still capable of having rational opinions despite allegiances. That's much like Tredders in the media these days - who clearly has a bias, but it doesn't get in the way of his opinions.

Do any of the Port aligned media, when speaking about or commentating on Port, actually refer to the club as "we"? i can't think of one, Ginever maybe on the odd occasion perhaps? I can think of half a dozen Crows aligned media that do it regularly. It's embarrassing.

Thats because they have a severe inferiority complex brought on by (depending on gender) either;
1. Very small gentleman's best friend
2. Extremely roomy basement

They need to be pitied not ridiculed ..

And they look the same.

Oops: I mean Riccuito and Dunstall look the same. Fleshy overweight past athletes, with Dunstall being slightly taller.

What that we shouldn't let them where the guernsey , wait till Thursday for wrinkles to bang on about that one.
Let's face it, the Cows could join the Japanese Whaling Fleet and the Wrinkles and Stupid Cheer Squad would talk it up as a positive.

apparently Sando gave David Noble a wink at the 5 minute mark of the game … how smug is that guy? Does he never learn?? I'm thinking Betts just played his best game for his career at the Cows now back to inconsistent.

No offence peargrl but let's not diminish the high point of their season.

It just wouldn't be fair.

"Steven Trigg is a top 4 CEO in the AFL" - Stephen Rowe
Brian Cook 1990-1999 WCE, 1999- current Geelong - 5 Flags as CEO + 2 GFs
Andrew Ireland 1990-2001 Brisbane, 2009- current Sydney, from 2002 -2009 was Sydney Footy Ops manager 2 flags as CEO + 1 as footy ops manager + 1 GF
Trevor Nisbett 1999- current WCE 1 Flag as CEO + 1 GF
Gregg Swann 1999-2006 Collingwood, 2006-current Carlton 2 GFs
Peter Jackson 1995-2009 Essendon, 2013- current Melbourne 1 Flag + 1 GF
Steve Roisch 2008-current Fremantle 1 GF

Just because Trigg was appointed late in 2001 doesn't mean he is any better than any of the guys above or some who haven't served as long as him. The crows have stagnated during his time. Not all his fault.

So do you believe Scott Thompson will be anything more than a weights room hero this season?
Yes I do, carried a groin for most of the year which has been operated on in the off season, still managed 9 Brownlow votes in what was an ordinary season by Scott's standards.

Do you believe Travis Boak will back up his break out, stellar 2013 season in which he scored 13 Brownlow votes??

Do you think the AFC will back up it's stellar 2013 season by missing the finals?
