Geez here we go ...........................
PORT Adelaide is bracing itself for a raid from interstate clubs for its superstar youngster Chad Wingard.

And one of the main threats that has flagged its interest in the talented forward is premiership threat Hawthorn, which has a history of attracting the players they want through aggressive trading.
Power football operations chief Peter Rohde took a pragmatic view to the byplay, but said Port was prepared for persistent offers from other clubs.
“We think he’ll be aggressively pursued, there’s no doubt about that,’’ Rohde said.

Nice deflect from Felchstead but Chad would be firmly in the players least likely to leave camp & is years away from being a free agent, there is no 'lucrative trade' that would have us giving one of our best players to a rival flag contender.

Where are the Danger, Sloane & Walker free agent articles? Oh right that's Rucci's domain. 'Clarko/Lewis rate him in the media therefore prepare yourselves to lose him Port'.. I'm sure C Scott, Clarko & Triggy at Carlton would love to get their hands on those 3 next year.

Geez. Let's do a story about the proposed AFLPA free agency changes and tie Chad Wingard to potentially exploiting it.......if he wanted to leave Port......which he doesn't.......a year after signing a contract extension........and expressing how much he loves the club.

Oh Jesper.......

You can see the Crow propaganda machine spin into overdrive as soon as they started winning games, starting with the Showdown. Up until that point, there was nothing to spin. But now, all you hear is "The Crows are gonna win!" as a soundbite every ad break on the 5AA sports show, articles are about Modra headlining the SA Hall of Fame, every interview has a Crow player and how they are priming to make the finals, Sanderson is spruiking his players for All Australian honors and now this laughable footy survey.

Meanwhile, at Alberton, Port Adelaide is just going about its business.

Part of me really wants us to play them in September. But that would mean either of a) we miss top 4, practically ruining our premiership chances, or b) we finish top 4 but lose the first week. Bigger fish to fry and all that.

Also, what sort of shit survey is this? No option for Tom Hawkins, the poster boy of anabolic steroids? Adam Goodes, the sniper? Guess I'll put down Brent Harvey....

EDIT - Ok, I went through all their crap questions...right up until the end. Question 50:

"Should Kane Cornes get a contract for next year to reach his 300 game milestone for Port Adelaide?"

**** you campaigners. ****....you. I'm done.

I am going to take some learnings from my crows supporting friends and how they judge McDermott.

Chad has issues from when the club sacked him and we won't let go or forgive. Therefore, anything he says that I don't like shall be clumped into the 'Chad is bitter' category and I never have to bother with it.

Having said that - his comments we so much like is fathers logic it was scary. Straight from the 'port reap what they sow, they back stabbed the Sanfl in 1990 and deserve to suffer' but in the next breath 'they are not the same club and have no right to the port heritage'.

I haven't seen this survey, but any survey that doesn't have Travis Boak among the 'Best Player' options is just taking the piss. Right now, this year, Travis Boak is the best footballer in this state bar none.
LIES!! The Merv Agars medal will give us the true answer

did Chad try for a job at PAFC and get spurned:rolleyes:
The culture at the club is very strong at the moment. All involved (players, coaches and ultimately the club) have a common viewpoint about our identity and our mission.

I believe it would be very difficult for the club, Ken included, to want to risk that. Anything or anyone who could potentially (even in the slightest) "tear us apart" would have to be strongly questioned.

So how do we feel about Chad's latest comments?
Spoke of how he hated PAFC growing up and found it ironic he ended up there but then goes on to say PAFC (power) isn't the same club.
I hadn't realised that Chad is a flat earther like his father. A bit disappointing but really he's only an embarrassment to himself with that obviously egregious belief.
