Just wonder if KT or someone from the club used others in the media (namely Porter and Wrinkles) to explain the coaching hunt process and in Porter's case to feed tit-bits of information through the process to keep some sanity in the reporting.

Lets all pray that the stories are correct and he is indeed headed for Melbourne to take up a job at the Herald Sun.
The problem I have with that is, as someone else somewhere mentioned, is that he then has a more national wider audience to preach his anti-Port bile to.

I suspect he is in a difficult position. I doubt that the Melbourne media will tolerate his constant snide remarks and negativity, so I am in some doubt that he will win a job there.

And I think he knows that his days in Adelaide a numbered as evidenced by his move into radio in recent times.

Sad, because once upon a time I used to like listening to him.

But nowadays he just spews bile. I don't know any footy person, Crows or Port or other, who respects him. But I do accept that he attracts a certain kind of nuff nuff.

Can you imagine the scale of the celebrations if this eventuates. And Jasper's tweets would be interesting too ;)

I think you're right too, that he wouldn't bother writing about us if he was in Vic, he would have a smorgasbord of clubs to turn his attention to.

I never realised there was a " ferret head" issue. I always assumed that was just what he had come to be known as over the years. What actually happened between him and Cahill?
I don't really remember that clearly. Just one night watching "Talking Footy" or the equivalent show and them cutting to Alberton Oval carpark at night to report on an aggressive interaction Cahill had with him. Next morning FH "reported" it in full of his version of events. I think JC was gone at the end of that year.

Ferrethead has an article on line now accusing KT of lying amongst other things.

I couldn't read it all, if I had I would be thinking of ways of hurting him.
Just a sad rehash of the week's events.

Maybe Rucci would like to do a day by day account of how often he nominated a different coach was going to be selected? Perhaps tell us about his process for uncovering and reporting 'facts'? Or that might cut a bit close to the bone for SA footy's self-appointed ombudsman.

I'm sure Keith will release a statement via the club's website refuting most of the fantasy, oops of course I mean article.

It has become so boring and predictable that it is unreadable.

It's actually a bit sad for the lad.

The toxicity of the venom dripping off the page is extraordinary.

And just as one example of how his story continually morphs so he can criticise Port - in the article he claims on September 19 television crews caught Eade meeting with Thomas.

Only a few days ago he criticised Port for amazingly not making any contact with Eade until after Collingwood were knocked out of the finals - and even then only through Eade's manager. Yet Collingwood were knocked out of the finals on September 21. So which version is accurate? Or does it matter?

After reading Rucci's article I'm even more confused by claims Hinkley was 'last man standing'. It's obvious that Eade did not reject us, according to Rucci he had told his family they are moving to Adelaide and he was keen on the job until rejected by Keith Thomas via text message. It also appears that Ken Hinkley was not even in the race at the time we decided to go with Cameron. Hinkley had withdrawn from the race temporarily and when he wanted back in we had already settled on Cameron and it was too late. Once Cameron accepted the GWS offer we were able to go back to Hinkley. Who's to say Hinkley would not have been chosen ahead of Cameron if he had not earlier ruled himself out - apparently changing his mind once Primus was appointed to Gold Coast. The way the media have reported this is a disgrace and I hope KT tears them a new one at the presser on Monday.

So PAFC has been 62 days without a full time coach, and this is a farce apparently.
Anyone want to hazard a guess as to how long the mighty Adelaide Crows were without a coach last year? 56 days.
Melbourne last year? 48 days.
Western Bulldogs? 34 days.
Richmond in 2010? 78 days.

Do any of these make a good story? No. But 62 somehow does.

It's awful stuff and really poisonous. One of those things you have to read to believe. Someone, anyone has to call him out on his rubbish. He goes round and round in circles and nothing anyone at the club can do is ever right. He is obviously doing his damnest to bring us to the brink and over.

He constantly plays up the poisoned chalice and the fact we are on the edge of the abyss.

Poor old KT. The "novice" has done an outstanding job. I can't recall Rucci ever praising the novice for his handling of JMAC's death.

Somehow Port supporters need to stand united against this. I realise that we have our "facebook" brethren amongst our supporter group, but perhaps a prolonged, anti-Advertiser, anti-FH campaign at Family days and Aami matches next year is in order. Campaign all Port supporters to not go near Adelaidenow or the Advertiser until he is kicked out.

The coaching postion is now out of the way and Rucci is pretty well certain to be gone by November by the sounds of things....you would have to question how long the Advertiser will stay in business, Rucci does see the writing on the wall there....the worlds a couple of degrees closer to being a better place

KEN Hinkley will be presented tomorrow as Port Adelaide's fourth AFL coach ... but not the Power's first choice for the role many see as a poisoned chalice in Australian football.

This is not a damning script at Alberton. Sixty-two years ago Port's first choice to coach a troubled football club, Jim Deane, could not score a clearance from South Adelaide.
Fos Williams emerged as the club's second choice - and became its greatest coach with nine SANFL premierships from 14 grand finals.

Hinkley, the Gold Coast and former Geelong assistant coach, could wish he was so lucky. He will enter the Port Adelaide Football Club to find greater challenges than Williams had at Alberton when he inherited a fractured and failing player group.

Rucci is carrying out a personal vendetta against club through the media, and he's hit a new low with this story. You can't call it an article because articles are meant to contain facts.

Also I don't know how Tim Ginever stops himself from not landing a few when he appears with FH on the 5cc Saturday morning sports show (like yesterday). He must have enormous amounts of self-control.

That has often occurred to me and I would love to ask both Tim and Daniel Norton that question.
