Turned off 5aa this year, crowie is just too annoying, best thing I have done in ages. I didn't mind it when Bone was on, he seemed to be more bipartisan unlike idiot, can't stand idiot, way too smug much like Crows supporters at the moment, they are all up and about and putting the boots in, life is rosy when you are winning. Winners are grinners and the losers can please themselves.
I wonder if stoopid has made the call to the customers "lift the lid" as he was this time last season with us?

I don't listen either, but a mate told me that Rowey sent a knock knock joke to 5AA on Monday night (he's apparently back on air tonight). You know - the old "Owen two" joke that stopped being funny as long ago as when the Crows last made the grand final. He's convinced that Adelaide will finish the year higher than Port: no doubt when he's shown to be wrong, he'll deny ever saying it.

In all seriousness, this is why football media is becoming just as shit as social media.

Off the back of one or two results careers are written off, legacies are tarnished and clubs' entire long-term football strategies are decried as broken.

IF we were to steamroll North Melbourne the hacks will breathlessly declare us to be in the groove and primed to potentially win our next ten games.

IF Stephen Rowe's favourite team was to suffer the patented Paul Roos anaconda choke they'll be deemed a flash-in-the-pan who now have to face the grinding realities of a 22-game season blah blah blah.

One week at a time is cliche, but it really is all there is, with a team's fortunes only accurately judged over much longer periods of time.
With access to all 8 games live each round for your footy tragics like us, I don't even know why any diehard supporter who watches most matches even bothers to read some self proclaimed experts viewpoint. If you've watched it yourself and you are watching more matches each round and each season, maybe just maybe you have a better idea than a Rucci or Robbo etc. I for one don't feel the need to read a match report by some **** who has got a job in the footy media and therefore been labelled an expert, most of them don't have a clue and in SA can't report past their fanboy allegiances. The amount of times each year people get hung up on what someones opinion is on a football team\player without being able to step back and go who gives a **** about your opinion as at the end of the day it means shit, all that matters is what actually happens on the football field not what someone thinks will happen. I must say at this point in time there is hardly any football media I actually read as I think none of it gives me any better insight than I have myself by watching all the games.

So, you are a happy cock today Noddy?
Not really happy as such more along the lines of being content with the current happenings as in the last two weeks the AFC has started my weekend off by delivering the goodies & to back that up some three hours later the PAFC has done the right thing by losing two weeks in a row.

Man U on the rise once more just need the Bays to kick into gear to top it all of.

I used to think Chris McDermott was one of the saner non-Port people you could find. But to suggest that Matt Lobbe should make a return from a quad tear at Etihad, when he is probably not even fully fit does not just equal the ramblings of Rowe but exceeds it in stupidity. Sure, the chance of 0-3 looms large and risks sometimes have to be taken. But if Lobbe plays there could be a real chance that he will be out for an extended period. Maybe McDermott thinks it would be better if Lobbe is out before the showdown. The bigger picture to look at is that after our first 5, which we can still squirm out of with a passable result, we have 7 winnable games on the trot. No Lobbe and suddenly that possible 7-0 looks more like 4-3.
