Seriously? ... What the hell is this?

What your club wants from Santa for season 2017

12. Bryce Gibbs coming home — but not to the Crows
IF AT first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Try again he will and Bryce Gibbs will come home at the end of the 2017 season, but not to West Lakes and the Crows but to Alberton and the Port Adelaide Football Club.
The Crows tried to entice him home but failed.

Bryce Gibbs could be heading to Alberton in 2018.
The Power will not make the same mistake.

They will learn from the errors of the Crows and make an attractive offer Carlton will not want to refuse. They won’t be able to.

Bryce will get his wish — almost!

Sometimes near enough is good enough.

Bryce Gibbs is very far down the list of people I'd want at our club.

We love/d Tredrea, Cornes and Wingard for their celebrations.

The only problem I have with Betts and the wider Crows nation is, when you celebrate well over the boundary line, that close to the fence, while your captain is gesticulating and that rat-faced spud Rory Atkins is cupping his hand to his ear, you're in no position to complain about the (non-fruited themed) response you receive.

Jenkins' Twitter sermon was all kinds of f**ked up.
Yes, I always had a problem with that photo that showed the crow's players celebrating by the boiundary line and RA cupping his ears. They had seemed to forget that this was a Port home game and that behaviour was getting the home fans worked up. I was a bit surprised that the AFL did not send a please explain to the crows, but why should I not be surprised that this did not happen.
I guess this has some relevance: A few years back we were playing the Docker at Subi and a section of their crowd was giving it to Chad Cornes. Chad was getting a bit sick of this so when he was near that section he gave them the finger salute. I think he got reported for that little indrescretion. No games but perhaps a fine, I think. Really not sure of the penalty.

Or, maybe, just maybe...

SANFL fanboys can just get over it and shut the **** up

Accept the fact that AFL reserves teams are part of every other state league, the SANFL is a second-tier competition, the AFL reserves arrangement hasn't stopped their team winning premierships and it hasn't been a two horse race between Port and the Crows.

if there is an AFL reserves comp, that would push the SANFL down to a third tier, and good luck with TV deals, advertising, sponsorship etc. but at least it'll have integrity :drunk:

What ulterior motives would there be? You've really got me curious.
How did they settle on Fiji?? Given Ed is a proud indigenous man its odd you didn't try something like this in a remote community considering you have to use the NT to put together a woman's team.

Ugh, Subaru. That horrid human should be locked up.
Comon, spill the beans

Also if old granny crow supporter articles deserve to be here, so should this:

She's a legend

About wrinkles ... he cannot let go of his hatred for Port when writing articles, sometimes it's overt, sometimes not, but it's always there.

Please not Krakouer, please not Krakouer, please not Krakouer.

We could make use of him ..... for the right price.

Needed a laugh Sunday morning and you lot provide it in spades.
Why not just review the nearly two decades old litany of Crers finals failures

Said it when he was off to the Crows and will say it again, Gibbs would be an huge asset to a functioning midfield. With our recent intake he'd be less useful for us now but the point remains.

Wouldn't pay more than 500K though.

Please send that post to the dinosaurs on SA footy !!!!
You have summed it up perfectly
How would Sturt have gone without Kirkwood and Beard this year ?
For years the other clubs tried to get rid of the magpies and they are still not happy
