farken lol.
Neade compared to all general forwards in comp. SPP compared to all other mids in comp.

AFL ratings (essentially the same data set as that papers Champion Data):
SPP is the 114th best mid for over the last 2 seasons according to the AFL. Neade is the 51st best best small/med forward over the last 2 season.

Hence the Below Average rating.

and that is where the AFL system is flawed.
at least with champion data they do tend to rate players to the role they play. eg KPF, small forward etc...etc...

For comparison, here's the rest of our list on 2016/17 AFL Ratings (practically CD) form:

farken lol.

Neade getting a huge boost via things like 'pressure acts (yuck)', SPP getting downgraded due to his lack of raw accumulation and presumably kicking efficiency.

hahaha ummm yeah ok
Hahahahaha, yeah, I know, it's almost like he's only played 22 of a possible 45 games over the past two years or something.

If he replicates 2017 he'd be the outright #1 ruck by 190 ranking points and below Patrick Dangerfield and above Dustin Martin in #2 overall.

Removing the season before rankings and only using 2017's Ryder is the #1 ruck and 8th Overall.
Martin
Dangerfield
Fyfe
Sloane
Pendlebury
Zorko
Franklin
Ryder

Wallsy at his best again tonight on AFL Tonight.

He says Freo will make the 8. Not an unreasonable call IMO but the reason he gives? Because they have 13 games at home, WTF! No Robert they have 12 games at their home stadium, just like we do.

Get the easy things right before you start to get into the other areas of the game.

The Suns are playing a home game there due to the Empire Games.
