Thats my point, its not about making Port's marketing department 'over the moon' its about pissing both AFL Clubs off and pointing out their failings.

Anyone who looks at that headline and thinks its come up with by a Crows loving Editor keen on pumping up the Crows is deluded.

LOL I don't paranoia quite that much. I agree it is unintentional. For you guys it is annoying, for us it is annoying and damaging to the brand.

Anyone happen to hear the Crows supporting woman who rang the Sunday Roast today? She was part of a group of Crows supporters called 'Please Save AAMI Stadium - Home of the Crows'. They have a Facebook page and a petition signing outside Crows home games. And unless i heard her wrong they also have the support of Stephen Trigg.

Essentially their opposition to the Adelaide Oval move is because of its threat to their pre-game BBQ's. Hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Oh South Australia. Sometimes you make me weep.

its not a gen x thing, its a unique Adelaide thing. look why footy wound up at pleurisy park in the first place. power structure wise we're no different to the bickering in the '60s but we're less effective and less wealthy Vs the 'OAF' era. we don't know if we're big town or small city now. managed to piss two full banks worth of prosperity away courtesy said banks' dodgy finance companies and their evil hangers on the f*ckwit developer community, without a big enough resource boom to compensate for those losses and fuel the kind of mass destruction/reinvention that make Brisbane and Perth such utterly soulless yet opportunity filled gen Y magnets. throw another winery on the suburban firesprawl as you leave will ya ? <joking, only joking>

Speaking of disgraceful headlines, today's bAdvertiser front page rediscovers irony and manages to have a serious dig at us at the same time.

Would it have been that %^*&ing difficult to use "They've got the Power to win" instead of quoting the theme of our major competition over the top of our brand and logo and basically sh*tting on our investment as best they can ? Watch for the Crows outbidding us for T-Birds sponsorship next time around, assuming the SANFL drones in our midst don't kybosh us even trying to renew the deal in order to drive the price down for their favoured franchise.

I actually took that headline and accompanying picture (the Subscriber Edition) as a clear sledge at the Adelaide Football Club, "The Pride of South Australia", and not at Port at all.

The standard of journalism in the 'Tiser continues to be very, very low.

Andrew Capel in Saturday's edition (page 115) once again showed that he is a complete arseclown with no journalistic integrity at all when he wrote of the Port Adelaide Football Club, "the club is in the biggest horror patch of its 14-year history".

That would be why this year we celebrated our 140-year history.

Those so-called journos do that deliberately to get us annoyed - shirley, they can't be that stupid - hang on, maybe I am wrong, I am speaking about guys who failed real English.

Further evidence of what a total hack journalist Andrew Capel is was in Saturday's edition of the 'Tiser. After being one of the "Port Adelaide is a new club established in 1997" brigade he then writes in an article on page 116, "Port has only finished bottom once in its proud 140-year history - in the SANFL in 1900".

If you are going to take an alternative view of history Andrew at least have the balls to stick by it and be consistent. Switching between the two versions, reality and your alternate view, only makes you look more stupid.

I also noticed that on the AdelaideNow AFL section the headline read "Tredrea to quit" but then when you click on the link the article says he is to retire.

Also on last weeks AdelaideNow they had 2 articles on Mark Williams, one said he had been sacked (stated as fact) and another saying MW walked away (also stated as fact).

Arse-clowns the lot of them.

Interesting how the 'Tiser tries to associate dirt with the PAFC when one of our sponsors is linked to a former bankrupt yet a Cows' player being charged with drink driving is hidden away on page 16. Next to a 2/3 page add for BWS no less.

If that had been a Port player poor old Kevin Foley would have been kicked off the front page to make room for the headline.

One of Rucci's articles today - I think the one titled "Power needs on-field bonus" had an original online title of "Port Power.....". Seems to have been changed during the morning, so at least someone is doing their job!

Sad but true. You only need to look at the fact they wont even buy out the tickets for the showdown because they dont want Port to get money or they dont want to be near Port supporters..... So basically they are saying I'll worry about Port and not helping them 1st and then I'll worry about supporting my club 2nd..... Dont even need to get started on bay 13 where every second thread is from a crows fan trying to bag port, sad, sad people. And overall a sad enditement on that footy club.

I just can't believe they try to deny that they live for beating us and seeing us lose. I mean we could play Collingwood at the MCG next week and when we lose I'll still cop messages from my crow mates paying me out..... I MEAN WTF?!?! What the hell has it got to do with the crows? But hey, if they live for beating us then good on them.

I dont give a rats about beating the crows, I just hate losing to them because they have the worst supporter base in the country. Comes from living in the precious state where they all praise them regardless of how crap they are.

Also shows how bad they are when all my mates that support interstate teams are starting to hate the crows and go for anyone that plays them too. I think it's mostly because of the deluded supporter base that is occuring than the team.

The thing about Dumber and Really Stupid is that someone will ring up criticising the club for picking Player A over B and they both agree.

Another person will ring up later criticising the club for picking Player B over Player A and they both agree.

As long as there is shyte thrown on the club - it makes them happy and feel justified.

I heard only one minute today (that is all truly) - why can't Port give Kane confidence to play. My god, he is a 200 game seasoned player and has been given most of the season to produce and for whatever reason unable to produce anything near average.

I heard it tonight. Early on a caller asked about ticketing info for the Oval match. They asked for someone from Port to ring in and give the info. Late into the show rowe was having a dig at Port for not giving them the info. FFS it had been on the Port website (these clowns have internet access in front of them) for several hours at that stage. They dont mind reading official statements from the cow website....

Too easy to do no work of their own and use it as an excuse to bag the club.
