Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

That word, 'BUT' ... you know whatever follows will be crap!Micale on 91.3fm running with the Brayshaw was blocking his run (and had a role on him to niggle him all day WTF) and should have been penalised prior to the hit.. insinuating that it would have prevented the action. Taking everything in me not to throw my radio out the window at work
All prefaced with "Im not condoning what Gaff did.. but... "
Yes. My respect for Duffield grows and grows.Think Duffield summed it up well in The West:
Thumbs Down (with a derby flavour)
Brain snap part one: Andrew Gaff. Remorseful, no doubt. Out of character no doubt. But the off the ball hit on Andrew Brayshaw sits as the ugliest on field incident of 2018 and should be punished accordingly. Have no idea what he was thinking if he was thinking at all.
Brain snap part two: The Eagles crowd. We have learned not to expect too much from crowds at big games but standing ovations for a bloke who has king hit an 18-year-old way off the ball look more than a little “off” when you look back at them in hindsight.
Brain snap part three: The Eagles team. The same applies to them. By all means protect your mate in the face of what were clearly some very angry Dockers but the last quarter mobbing of Gaff after his long goal just looks wrong in light of his actions and the consequences of his actions. Support of a teammate is great but this looked like a celebration of what Gaff had done.
Brain snap part four: The well-lubricated West Coast corporates adjacent to the press conference room started booing Fremantle coach Ross Lyon when he began his press conference and started talking about the Gaff incident. Memo to Optus Stadium: This is a working environment. Either control the crowd or get them out.

Hilarious. Basil hardly even turns it up to lukewarm with Simmo - barely even broached the prick's talking up of a sucker punch to the jaw as a complete accident - and Eagles flogs already talking formal complaints to Seven.
Oh my goodness. Get on Twitter and defend The West. They are being attacked by West Coast fans in the most vitriolic terms. Who would ever have thought that The West would put out a front page like this. I still can't believe it. My faith in the media is being restored. Yay for Duffield, Lacey and O'Donohue. Courage in a blue and yellow town.Front page tomorrow.
I heard talking footy was very pro Gaff. Anyone watch?
You should read the outraged comments by Eagles fans on Twitter. Unbelievable.Im going to buy tomoz. My first buy in 10.years . Wish me luck
The same with Jonathon Brown on Channel 10. Is there no former player apart from Pav who is prepared to describe this cowardly act for what it is?Turned it off a few minutes in after carey said it was accidental and its all a over reaction. Was either the tv off or something was going to go through the tv. Unbelievable.
Edit: these are the same guys who were outraged with the nyhuis tackle afew weeks back.

This is a guy that probably thinks it's half the wife's fault for being beat up for back chatting her husband.Turned it off a few minutes in after carey said it was accidental and its all a over reaction. Was either the tv off or something was going to go through the tv. Unbelievable.
I think more needs to be made of the decision to not show replays of the incident and Brayshaw’s face at the ground. Although I find it hard to believe the vast majority of the crowd had no clue what had occurred, the outcome of the crowd treating Gaff as a hero was terrible. I can understand the desire to minimise showing graphic images of injury, but the incident itself was not overly graphic and one or two showings of Andy’s face was appropriate. Being at a game and being unaware of the worst incident in AFL/VFL in 30 years is ridiculous.
PS. Andy was having a great game and I hope he recovers well.
It has been stated that the incident was not replayed. I think this was a very poor decision.i didn't see it shown. - if it was it was very brief. Saw all the scuffling though and did see replays though of Johnson of Gaff. When me and my godson got home his dad showed the footage to us and he had to point to it on screen as i was kinda looking at the screen where the play was not towards the top left where Brayshaw got hit. If this was shown at the game i think alot of people would've been watching it like i did
