Short memories too. I mean it had been nearly 25 years at that point since Viney had testified against Lewis in a biting incident. The 'players code' was out the door by the beginning of the AFL era and was only thing here for the purposes of denigrating little brother.

That incident was disgusting, in that Viney was “strangling” Lewis, who bit him as a reflex motion. Viney wanted AIDS tests to be undertaken because ...... well you know why.

He asked for the tests, with a grin on his face. Never took the blame that he was strangling a player. Viney + sportsmanship does not compute.

lewis put up with a shitload including from his own team, surprised he didn't snap more.

It was never asked what Vineys fingers were doing in Lewies ‘face’ - near eye if you get the drift.
Frowned upon in Rugby League the gouge, black fellas weren’t allowed to complain in the racist VFL.... Viney was an absolute grub.

Great photo on the AFL website from our win against Collingwood in round 11, which Fyfe definitely played in, and we wore our indigenous jumper.

been a couple of years since Fyfe had hair that short. Clowns. Hope the karma bus hits them... oh that's right it never does as no one keeps the media really accountable for their constant stream of clickbait spreading fear, BS, and confusion (aside from an ABC show no one watches)

“We just want to keep learning and keep improving, we’re still a young side, apart from David Mundy.” :p

From that interview and the podcast Logue has a fair amount of confidence and charisma, would be shocked if he doesn’t try to get into a media gig of some sort after footy

I know we have flogged this to death but did anyone get the text to this?

West Coast great Peter Sumich left speechless after follow-up question on Fremantle’s flaws

As a general rule, if you’re going to voice an opinion on any issue, you’d best prepare for some follow-up questions.
West Coast great Peter Sumich was left perplexed by AFL Tonight host Kath Loughnan after the former superstar forward was questioned on Fremantle’s premiership potential in the years to come.
When asked if the Dockers were playing a “finals brand of footy that can win a premiership” Sumich was optimistic on the club’s future but shot down their premiership chances with coach Justin longmuir’s current game plan.
I think they need to tinker with it Kath going forward,” he said.
“He doesn’t have to throw everything out, it’s just a slight tinker and then i think they can improve greatly next year and have an assault on the top eight, if not the top six.

“But he does need, in my opinion, to tinker with it slightly.
The Dockers are coming off an important 12-point win over Collingwood to remain in contact with the top-eight in 2021.
Loughnan asked for clarity as to “how” the Freo boss can improve his schemes but both the audio and the former West Coast and Fremantle assistant coach failed to get the message across.
