I watched a bit of the VFL today.

The guy in charge of camera choices and transition is actually better than whoever Channel 7 have.

Obviously the actual views themselves aren't as great, but the switch from camera to camera is always spot on. Clearly it's done by someone that's seen a lot of football, really refreshing to see.

Why on earth would a GWS game be on delay? Literally zero reason to watch it now. In fact why is anything on delay in this day and age. Fair enough a decade or so ago when the only other way of finding out scores was the radio but now everyone has phone apps and websites constantly updating, you'd have to be wearing a blindfold to not know the result before it appear on the tv.

I actually couldn't stand it in the end! After half time I resorted to streaming 3aw on my phone and just managed the delay with foxtel iq. Got it perfect for the second half.

Really, how can he commentate Sydney games? Apparently, according to him, they are the greatest team to ever grace out great game. Sure, they are a good team, they do some things really well, but there are two teams playing.... It just has to be for the Sydney market, it cannot be for any other reason.

the prematch wqs horrendous.roosy ived HIRDY prematch and only qsked qbout SYdney players, and then the other interviwer only asked LONGmire about sydney players.

poor form by the network.
 
yeah, i cant believe they let roosey commentate on the swans games.

it just ends up in him leading the circle jerk and its painful to listen to. everything that comes out of his mouth starts with: the thing that sydney are the best at is...
