Ah 02, right you are! Yeah was 3 or so efforts by biz that led to a goal, don't remember who kicked it tho. Johnstone racked the possessions up and kicked 3 iirc. I just remember jumping up and down and throwing a lot of hi-fives!

Don't remember thompsons last game, just remember being shattered that he left when he was just reaching his prime.

Yeah just checked. Scotty's last game was the Sydney game 04. I was at that game. Remember him walking off the ground and you could tell by his body language, he was going home.

Johno dominated that final. I remeber Adelaide just couldn't miss. I went to the Barrassi bar in the 2nd qtr to drown my sorrows. Had to make my way back up when Johno started ripping it up.

I'm sure there's more than a handful of people here that anyone that believes the stereotype should sit next to during a close finish.

Here's dovetail for the thread, what's the most you've ever gone off (good or bad) at a game.

Some years ago, probably around 94-95 I think in a game vs bloody norf, a very young MUYB was watching a game with his dad when his hero, the great Jim Stynes, had a free kick awarded against him. Muyb immediately saw the huge injustice that had been done and proceeded to chuck an absolute fit in the aisle, ignoring all requests to calm himself and sit down.

Later, during the week, the young muyb saw something on TV which brought to him great delight, the umpire who had commited this grave act of indecency publicly apologised in either an interview, or presser, and great vindication was felt by the lad.

It's the best banner there is, was, and ever will be, for so many reasons. Nothing else will ever come close.
