We need to hire a specialist forward coach who can teach our players to lead into space, dummy leads to create space and to get our focal forwards to just stop pushing up the ground to be too knackered to compete in a 3 on 1 contest in the air.
Ryan was comfortably our best defender. Also blame the midfield for how bad the defenders looked. **** all pressure up field.I thought he was one of our better defenders. Him and Wilson, the rest were ****ing horrible
It’s called understanding a game planI'm at a loss to understand how the Swans bring in young players and they are immediately up to speed , have the skill and fitness levels required of an AFL player and look like they belong from the get go when they have a crappy development league in the NEAFL and not exactly high picks , us on the other hand it's all wait , patience , 50 games blah blah blah

Surely you don't think our forwards actually want to push up into the oppo backline do you? That's clearly by instruction. They’re bloody footballers mate they should know the basics before they step on the field. Do you need to teach an accountant how to add and subtract?

Not just the Swans either. A few teams are making a mockery of our rebuilding timeline. Still not sure why we are expected to just accept and swallow the whole rebuild narrative anyway, only mismanaged lists end up where we are.I'm at a loss to understand how the Swans bring in young players and they are immediately up to speed , have the skill and fitness levels required of an AFL player and look like they belong from the get go when they have a crappy development league in the NEAFL and not exactly high picks , us on the other hand it's all wait , patience , 50 games blah blah blah

Yeah I know what you're saying, but the second part of the post was referring to teaching them to stop pushing so far up the ground.his post was about leading as a forward which is a skill you learn in under 12's.
Pretty much word for word.Wait for
1. Lessons to be learned
2. Though we showed endeavour
3. Pleased with the last quarter
4. Young players showed something
5. We’ll build on tonight’s experience
6. Older players stood up
Blah blah blah
Hardwick improved when he brought in better people around him Ross doesn’t allow this as it’s his way or the highway everyone on here has a go at Sumich but he left because he wasn’t a yes man
??? Because winning the internet is so important.I'm pissed off that we haven't seen the crickets comment in this thread for weeks...
Rebounders especially, but defenders in general always towel us up. Lloyd killing us was painfully predictable, yet Ross continues to do nothing about it.Rebounding defenders must love playing us , It is time for change we make the same mistakes over and over again .
